AUSTRALIAN ALL STAR CHEERLEADING FEDERATION AND HORIZONS SPORTING EVENTS ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

Horizons Sporting Events (Horizons) and the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF) have entered into a Partnership that will see Horizons become the Official Travel and Tour Supplier to AASCF.
The Partnership will see Horizons working with AASCF to manage all the Travel and Tour requirements of AASCF and its members and participants, ranging from flights and accommodation to transport and international tour packages.
The first major focus of the Partnership will be the 2012 AASCF National Championship to be held in Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush NSW in October. AASCF National Championships are the highlight of the Australian cheerleading calendar with over 280 teams comprising 4000+ competitors expected who are eager to pit their skills against the best from across Australia and New Zealand. Horizons will provide Air, Accommodation and Travel Management services for Australia’s largest cheerleading event, allowing participants to access the best available fares and rates for flights, accommodation and car hire.
The relationship will also see Horizons creating international tour packages that will be offered to members, for AASCF sanctioned events.
The first of these tour packages will be for the Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs, California, February 2012 which one of the highlights of the international calendar in a fantastic location. Duel in the Desert is one of the West Coast's largest events year after year!!! Come to beautiful Palm Springs, California for a great event, with great production and real depth of competition! With over 250 teams last year this event is quickly becoming an international fan favourite, and AASCF has sent teams for the last 2 years having great results.
The second major event will be the premier international cheerleading event, the USASF/ICU WORLD CHEER & DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS, held in Orlando, Florida in April 2012. AASCF sent 8 Bid Teams to the 2011 Championships who were exceptional coming away with 2 Silver and 2 Bronze ICU medals in the competition that features 22,000 participants from 70 countries.
