AASCF SCORING SYSTEMS

AASCF 2019 CHEER SCORING INFORMATION

AASCF will be adopting the new 2019 ACSA Scoring System which aligns the IASF Scoring with the Varsity Scoring System and amended to incorporate Australian specific sections such as Novice, Adult, low level Open, etc which we believe will be a great scoring system for our country.

A few adjustments to look out for:

• The Novice rules have been revised and updated
• AASCF have lowered the bottom end of the Overall Score Sheet in Dance Break, Performance Impression and Routine composition, giving a 0.4 more range in each section on the overall score sheet. The Varsity range is 9.0-10.0 – the AASCF range is 8.6-10.0
• CheerAbility is clarified
• The NEW 2019 IASF Rules are so much clearer to understand
• The Skill List is in change over from 2018-2019 so it will be a little more open this year whilst everyone adjusts
