Cooly Rocks On (4–8 June, Coolangatta)

This is Australia’s largest nostalgia festival, celebrating the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s with vintage cars, retro markets, swing dancing, and classic rock ‘n’ roll. Just announced for the first time outside the United States, the Solento Surf Festival is coming to the Gold Coast and it’s making waves already. Whether you’re a surfer or just love beach culture, this is a rare and exciting addition to the Gold Coast’s winter calendar.

For sports fans, this NRL fixture brings the Gold Coast Titans face-to-face with the Manly Sea Eagles.
